My very first painting ever was of “The Delicate Arch.”

 

Once this little piece was done it seemed so appropriate to be the first of the 50/50/50. The image has come full circle in a sense.

Currently on the easel is a watercolor half sheet of Orchids. A lovely and delicate piece – here’s a smaller painting of an orchid and very much inspired by the larger piece.

While painting this piece I kept thinking that each bubble was like a wish or a prayer and being so close to Easter may be why these colors were chosen.

This piece has an oil painting a little larger of the same idea and image.
