The Angel Weeps

We have a replica of The Angel of Grief here at Stanford in Palo Alto.

The painting Angel Weeps is appealing because of the raw and confident brush strokes. 

I decided the studio is a bit too small to work in several mediums. Also here in Santa Cruz, CA disposal of used chemicals and rags is challenging for me. I enjoy working in oil, just wish I could through the tubes and used stuff in the regular trash. And so it is with a heavy heart that I am temporarily retiring my oils.
